Day 151: On the Road Again!

Back for a brief visit at the Kilauea Point National Wildlife Refuge while on the road to elsewhere!

The Light.

Some of the rocky shore around the Lighthouse.

More shoreline and…

…a close upon the action.

A Red-tailed Tropicbird trying to fly backwards!  Really.  It is part of the mating ritual.

A White-tailed Tropicbird out to sea.

A nice pool to sit in an watch the waves over a cold beer.  If you don’t drown first.

An Iwa, or Great Frigatebird.  Probably a juvenile.

An Iwa through the Lighthouse.

Two more Nene.

Then it is down the road for a late afternoon start to Cap’t Andy’s Sunset Dinner Cruise!

Next!
