I made a quick trip through the Flathead last week. Â I drove by the Cascades, a wide spot on US HWY 2 on the South side of Glacier National Park. Â It looks a bit different in the winter…you can see way up the mountainside, which is obscured by leaves the rest of the year! Â It was also snowing pretty good, which you can see if you click on the photo a couple of times. Â BACK to return!

You usually see about this much of the Cascades in the summer, if you walk up next to them. Â There is still a pretty deep brm of snow right now.
