Day 95

I made a quick trip through the Flathead last week.  I drove by the Cascades, a wide spot on US HWY 2 on the South side of Glacier National Park.  It looks a bit different in the winter…you can see way up the mountainside, which is obscured by leaves the rest of the year!  It was also snowing pretty good, which you can see if you click on the photo a couple of times.  BACK to return!

You usually see about this much of the Cascades in the summer, if you walk up next to them.  There is still a pretty deep brm of snow right now.
