The 22nd of April was suppose to be one of the good nights to view the Lyriads Meteor Shower, which comes around every year at this time. Â Unfortunately this year it coincides with an almost full Moon, which screws up the viewing until after the Moon sets at 4:30am. Â That is pretty much too early for me, pre-retirement anyways, so I went out after 10pm. Â I didn’t see any meteors, but there was a nice gate to a field, with Great Falls and Malmstrom AFB in the background.
