We were sitting outside the other evening and two Cedar Waxwings land in the Mountain Ash tree by us.

It was late evening and the tripod was out in the car, so these are handheld. Â That is why the ISO is 800 and 1250.

For editing I just cropped, resized, and used the Automatic Enhance that Elements has.

I pushed the saturation just a bit (+3 to +5). Â On these next four of the second bird, I lowered the HUE -4 to -10.

There was avery greenish cast to the photo, from the late evening sun reflecting off of all the leaves.

The two birds were close enough to be in the same photo, but with the lens wide open I has such a shallow depth of field, they couldn’t both be in focus!

One last closeup.
