Day 105 (7 Apr 10 part 7): Will this day never end???

That is what Leslee and I were asking at this point…So what do you do for tired, cranky and sore feet (and that was just the Grandparents!)?

What else?  Hop the Train!

The train runs all around Disneyland, with four trains running this day.  There never seems to be longer than a five minute wait.

The first thing you see after leaving the Toon Town Station is a backsided view of the topiary at the “It’s A Small World Penitentiary and Summer Camp”.

It has been bothering me that so many of the photos of Toots are of the back of her head.  You try following a three year old around Disneyland and see what part of her YOU take photos of!  But the train gave me a captive target; here’s Toots’ face!

The train takes us to the Grand Canyon now…

…and millions of years in the past.

After the tunnel past Tomorrowland comes the Main Street Station.

The Mermaid Super Bunny practices the Royal Wave.

The Main Street Station.

Here is where all the characters in the Splash Mountain ride go after hours…

The River is undergoing renovations, and this is one of the only places you can see what is going on.  the Mark Twain steamboat follows this track.  The keelboat is left high and dry.

Fish lips in Frontierland.

Off on another adventrue!
