Day 109 (8 Apr 10 part 3): Downtown Disney

We headed back to the park in the early evening.  We had plans of eating somewhere in Downtown Disney, and then seeing the fireworks.

Someone seemed happy about it…

Our family portrait!

What is that yellow building up ahead?

It is the world famous (aren’t they all?)…

…LEGO Store!

We had to go in and build something!

All LEGO, all the time!

Indiana Lego!

After the extensive consumer experience at the LEGO Store, we went to dinner at one of our favorites, the Rain Forest Cafe!

Everyone was happy with this choice, and for the first time we got to sit on the patio!

The alternative is fun too: the darkest jungle, loud gorrillas, elephant stampedes, regular thunder storms, giant aquariums, and great shopping (for authentic Rain Forest Cafe merchandise).  Really!

Here are two of the elephants.

Toots wants a volcano for dessert?  breakfast? all day?  Her mother will never get one; it comes with four to eight singing staff members.

Meanwhile, there is more to see over the edge of the patio…

A Central American Temple with REALLY big birds and fire!

Hey, this is pretty good grub you gots here Nana!

Then it was back out on the Downtown Disney street!

Somehow Toots managed to miss this two story tall Build-a-Bear store every time we came down here!

This is the entry to Disney’s California Adventure, where we went later in the week.

And here we are back at the Magic Kingdom.
