I packed up and headed out this afternoon, bound for the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. I have been looking forward to this trip for many months now. I got a nice little trailer from Harbor Freight to haul my camping gear and associated garbage, and with a bit help from my friend Vance, off I went!

Not many nice photos…it was pretty cloudy most of the time. No snow though…here is the Moon over Paradise Valley south of Livingston.
I just love roughing it…with the Internet…
So tomorrow I hope to see some wildlife (not too close…) in Yellowstone National Park, great Mountains in Grand Teton National Park, nice canyons in Flaming Gorge National Recreation Area, and spend the night in Vernal, Utah, near Dinosaur National Monument (I hope I got all those names right…!)
