This is the first half of my day, or a little more.
Sunrise in Vernal, UT.
(Nikon Coolpix L11 on auto, unless otherwise noted)
My neighbor for the night, Jay R., riding a hot Yamaha FJR. Seems to be a real nice fella. He was headed home to the mid-west.  I had forgotten to post this photo…it is actually in another Day’s folder for some unknown reason…Hi, Jay!

Pancake in a Can: Batter Blaster! No mess, and pretty good pancakes. They are a bit dark because I have not cooked on a Coleman stove in a long time…
There is a Dinosaur at the National Monument of that name. This is the one in Utah. There is one just across the line into Colorado, too. Lots of government construction and spending…

A big rock down by the river…
Heading down to the rock…
The rock from down at the river…Big Rock…the scale is not evident here…
Cruising down the highway…it looks like Radiator Springs might be over there on the left somewhere…
(sorry about the jagged panorama…I was moving when I took the shots…)
Switchbacks in the middle of Colorado route 139, on Douglas Pass, 8,240 feet, about half way down the 72 miles from Rangley to Loma. A nice ride.
The first glimpse of the Colorado National Monument…those high rocks in the background!
