Part 3 of Day 5:
At the Southwestern end of the Monument Valley the weather continued wet, but the scenery got better!

This is at the southern end of Monument Valley, where US HWY 163 meets up with the Monument Valley Tribal Park Road on the Navaho Reservation. The lighting was horrible.

This panorama ended up being really huge…so I reduced it here. I tried both as a regular daytime photo and a day for night. I like them both.

Down the road a bit there was this spire that did not match anything else around…it looks like it was just dropped in from Middle Earth!
