I saw this fascinating flower while I was out on Cape Royal.

It grows as a tall, tree-like shrub, with pretty little yellow flowers…

…but the neat part is the feathery white streamers that float on each “tree”.

Then there are the sap suckers and the junipers!
The Junipers look like a kid got a new power drill for Christmas and he had to try it out!
This one is for the Dailylife Wife…!

So after this I rode back to the North Rim Campground. I had not slept well the night before, and I had skipped breakfast to get out to see the sunrise. I had lunch, caught a nap, hit the Campground showers, which I thought might strip the flesh from my bones, but ended up being a relaxing hot shower (I wish I had that water pressure at home!), washed some clothes, surfed the web a little to catch up and post photos, and then it was time for dinner and a trip to Bright Angel Point to see the Moon set!
