Day 73

I was coming home from the Flathead when I stopped to take a few photos of the avalanches at Goat Lick along US Hwy 2 and Glacier National Park.  The slide came down the ravine on the north side of the road and went under the bridge and down to briefly block the Middle Fork of the Flathead River.  You can see some of the snow piled up just below and left of center, and more behind the trees, blocking the river below the railroad trestle (left side) at the end of the creek that flows under it.  More in the next post!
