On the next day…it rained.  That was the good part.

Because as I near Crater Lake National Park…

…it started to snow.  And stick.  And I was still 1,000 feet below the rim.

I stopped at the entrance at the Gift Shop.

Even if I had gone on you could not see Crater Lake through the snow.  This is the Official Crater Lake Webcam, after I got to my motel in Klamath Falls.

I am still bummed.  It didn’t clear up at Crater Lake until I was 600 miles away two days later.
