Day 330

A few more shots from the Dashcam: Pulling out of Cottonwood/Camp Verde on to I17 South (towards Phoenix) means a long climb up and over a mountain.   A really nice sunset, however! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 329

A few more shots from the Dashcam: I15 runs from St. George, Utah, through a small section of Arizona into Nevada at Mesquite.  It is called the Arizona Strip, and is maybe 15 miles long?  Horrendously rugged country to build a four lane highway through! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 328

From a long ago Camera Club visit to the now long gone steam tractor museum. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 327

I made it home from my trailer delivery on Saturday.  A longish trip!  I have a brief summary using my new dashcam.  Into the Helena Valley.  The dots are the windshield shading. Welcome Idaho! The dashcam actually has fairly nice night photos.  Heading out of Camp Verde up the hill towards Phoenix on I127. Retuniing […]

Day 326

I am at my friends’ place in Phoenix.  As optimistic transplanted /\/\onTanans, every fall they fill their backyard with water in desperate, but vain, hopes of creating an outdoor skating rink…I got this after the water had dropped about a foot…

Day 325

I am visitng friends in Phoenix.  Keith took me to a Woodcrafters store.  These are pen blanks for the Dailylife Grandad: to be turned into pens and potential Christmas Presents!  I got him a block of “figured walnut” also… ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 324

The view from the storage place, looking north towards Sedona.  A one photo panorama.  Click on it a couple times to enlarge it: BACK to return here! ~Curtis not in /\/\onTana???  {!-{>

Day 323

When I got to the storage place in Cottonwood, AZ, they had nice rock lined slots to back into, which was actually not too difficult because of the rearview camera. The new trailer is very high, which means the hitch is high, which means you have to crank the jack way, Way, WAY up to […]

Day 322

Kingman, Arizona: the price of gas: $4.09.9! In fairness if I could have shopped around I could have found it up to $0.25 cheaper, but there were wall-to-wall semis and a few other cars preventing me from getting to the cheap(er) stations.  I took the station I could get into and then out of and […]

Day 321

Looking both ways in Utah! The new Trailer has a rear view camera.  It is incredibly helpful in not cutting off the people and vehicles you pass.  It is suppose to go to an app on my Android Stereo, but it won’t work.  It does work on my iPad… ~Curtis in /\/\onTana!
