More at the Union Station, outside. A little 55 ton (?) Utah Central switcher and caboose. An end view. The engineer’s view. A wrecker train with crane, scrap car and … ….rotary… …plow??? The whole consist! U.S. Army tank car and bay window caboose! ~Curtis, soon to be back in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

More at the Union Station, inside. If you enlarge this you can see it is from Barrow Steel…hmmm… A caboose inside the museum, fully climbable! Outside the inside caboose. There is also a fairly nice model railroad running. ~Curtis, soon to be back in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

On Saturday I braved the near 100F temperature and headed up to Ogden to the Union Pacific Station and the Utah Railroad Museums.  They have a an old 0-6-0 steam engine with tender and two cabooses set up outside as a playground…kids can crawl all over these things!  They must have not heard about litigation […]
