Day 303

The latest in the on-going war between the Squirrels in the Barrow Backyard Wildlife Refuge and the Dailylife Wife.  While the Chain holding the feeder up doesn’t seem to stop the Squirrels from getting to the feeders, it does seem to be keeping them from busting them down.  One link visible at the top. ~Curtis […]

Day 300

About 65 posts left for this year! A common Loon.  There have been a couple of pairs down my the River for several weeks. (Canon 7D 1/2000s f/5.6 ISO400 300mm 100% crop) ~Curtis in /\/\ontana! {!-{>

Day 299

Not my favorite bird to photograph, but a nice photo of a California Gull none the less. (Canon 7D 1/3000s f/5.6 ISO400 300mm ) I have started trying some online bird photography class advice:  Good lens, wide open, lowest ISO for a high shutter speed.  It seems to be working. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 298

A somewhat wavery Moon.  The air seemed more unsettled the higher it got.  It is usually worst on the horizon.  I am going moon hunting with Walter and Ken tomorrow again!  {!-{> ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 297

Way behind…here is tonight’s super moon… I went out last night with Walter and Ken. It was a bust.  Too many clouds near the Highwood Mountains. But we met as the Camera Club up at the Airport tonight. Pretty good results! ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>

Day 296

Toots got chosen from her class to be in an art exhibit down at the MSU College of Technology. A closer view of the Art. ~Curtis in /\/\onTana! {!-{>
