We decided to visit some waterfalls on our last day.  The first was Opaeka‘a Falls.  We visited there briefly last year on our cruise.
(Canon 7D)
Around this area there were a could of white-tailed tropic birds flying.

It is that little white speck…
About this time my camera started acting up.
The exposure compensation dial (exposure fine tuning) wouldn’t work. Â It worked int he software, just not the physical dial.
This was aggravating to no end. Â I figured it out over lunch: there is a lock switch to lock the exposure compensation in so it won’t change. Â I never use it, somehow I hit it down at the bottom of the dial. CLICK and it works again!
I do think I missed a few nice photos, but that is life. Â I got it fixed!
And one last fluffy bird!
A Zebre Dove according to one source, a Spotted Dove according to another.
