The Dailylife Wife and I went to see Saving Mr. Banks at the movie theater today.  It is an excellent movie, if you have seen Mary Poppins.  I am not sure it will make any sense at all if you never have (I am sure somewhere out there someone hasn’t…!).  It is about the trails and tribulations Disney had to go through to get the rights to Mary Poppins to make the movie, as seen from P.L. Travers viewpoint.  She is the author reluctant to let that horrible Mr. Disney get his hands on Mary Poppins (never just Mary!).
Tom Hanks makes a pretty fair Walt Disney, too!
