Last night (the 20th or 171st Day, not the 169th Day…) we had a pretty substantial rain storm. Â I went out so take some lightning photos and found this very intense double rainbow!

And here are the same three photos combined in a different projection while making them into a panorama (cropped). Â Look closely at the top of the main rainbow and you can see a discontinuity where the rainbow breaks a bit. Â There is a much smaller version of it in the photos above, hardly noticeable if you don’t look for it. Â It is just a problem of the photos not lining up quite right when they were taken…

ps: I didn’t play with the saturation on these…the colors were there! Â The sky was glowing red/orange before I could even see the rainbow. Â {!-{>
