We spent a couple days in Moab, Utah, at Arches and Canyonlands National Parks, while on our way back from Albuquerque. Â A high cloud cover moved in and the lighting was horrible. Â Almost all of the sky was washed out, and I don’t want to photoshop one in.
This is the Sun trying to creep up to start the day. Â I know it looks like on of my Moon photos, but it is the sun.
I am pretty sure…
Our KOA Kamping Kabin in the warm morning light. Â The light didn’t last.
This is the view from the Courthouse Towers Viewpoint in Arches NP. Â That is the Three Gossips across the road, and the Towr of Babel on the far right. Â I think.
(A five photo panorama:click to enlarge; BACK to return!)
Turning around, this is the Courthouse Towers.
(A two photo panorama: up and down, not sideways.)
Note the painter with the little easel. Â I think they were painting all of the little paintings for the shops in town to sell. Â There were lots of painters. Â Probably at least one at each viewpoint and pullout. Â Sometimes more!
The Famous Balanced Rock!
This is a four photo panorama looking down towards the Windows Arches. Â It was crowded and there was no parking.
The Dailylife Wife took these next four. Â The first is of the Windows Aches.
Part of the Cove of Caves.
A new Arch is forming!
A little closer…
A long view to Delicate Arch from the lower viewpoint. Â It was not a good day for us to walk out to it.
More to come from Archs National Park!
