We had to go to a lu’au: Drums of the Pacific Lu’au at the Hyatt Regency. Â It was pretty good!
Stylish footwear of the day!
A fancy fruit punch looked over by Friend Walter.
The Dailylife Wife in her new Pacific Whale Foundation Store Sun Repellant hat!
Us.
A wide-and-low angle photo (28mm equivalent) from my Nikon Coolpix P7100.
The same photo from the Daily Wife’s Olympus PL-5 with a 9mm (18mm equivalent?) Fisheye!
Another test fisheye of the crowd across the table…why is the only one that looks at all happy is the one who doesn’t like their photo taken?
On to the Hula!
And again!
Happy Girl!
A big part of every Lu’au is a pig roast!
It is paraded ceremoniously off to the kitchen.
We got the VIP seats right by the stage. Â That also let us first in line for the food! Â It sure beats being #600 in line…there was salad and fruit and taro and bread and fish and chicken and, of course, pig!
Fairly well consumed. Â The dessert was good too! Â Even if I don’t get photo.
Next: Tragedy and Hula!
