So you’d think it is all downhill from Beartooth Pass, right? Â You’d be wrong! Â The road winds around quite a bit, up there near 11,000 feet…
About all of that snow: my hotelier in Red Lodge told me there was a foot that fell up here on Thursday. Â They thought the Pass was closed for the season. Â Thankfully most of it melted for my trip through on Saturday.
Pretty rugged country.
And prime motorcycling! Â Squiggly!
Here is my friend. Â He follows me everywhere.
Up on top of the Pass is a ski area for the National Ski Team (or so I heard it). Â It is only open for a couple of months in the summer…
Man! Â What a view!
More curves. Â And definitely downhill!
There he is again!
At the border…Custer National…Forest? Â Shouldn’t that require trees?
Always a good feeling to be back in /\/\onTana!
Ummm…
Now they require us to store food for bears? Â Let them store it themselves!
And now we go down the other side…
Next: Â the rest of the way down…
~Curtis in /\/\onTana! again! {!-{>
