The Dailylife Wife has some lilies down any the end of the house by the brick wall. Â I borrowed a Canon 22mm from Friend Robyn for my M2. Â Here is a little playing around.
The first one is in the sunlight, and they came out very yellow. Â They are very orange to the naked eye.
This is the center of the same photo at 100% size. Â It is a very sharp little lens.
Here is another one in the sunlight.
As you can see the brick wall may not be the best background, but it worked for this test of the lens. Â The photos above are both at f2. Â This means there is a very narrow zone that will be in focus, as you can see.
This next photo was in the shade, but the flower is much closer to the actual color. Â It is at f2.8 for a slightly better Depth of Field. Â I blurred the background more on my computer.
This two are the same photo, at f2.8. Â I played with converting the flower and then the background to Black & White, simulated infra-red. Â There is a little bleed around the color edges due to the way I selected the flower out of the background…
…and…
And finally a closer crop at f2. Â I think I need to go out again when they are all in sunlight.
