Another beautiful day on the Amsterdam! Â And since I had cell service, a pretty useless map of our location…
Well, the beautiful day part was a little optimistic.
A view off the starboard rail of the other ships docked.
And off the stern.
Here is the Dailylife Wife contemplating Juneau.
As we disembark to tootle around the city, we got a nice, if slightly distorted, view of our ship!
(A six photo panorama; CLICK to enlarge, Back to return!)
And a two photo panorama of the stern.
Another interesting ship was down the dock a bit.
It is the Seabourn Sojourn, a bit more expensive cruise line than Holland America! Â Half our trip is priced at six times what we paid! Â But it is an interesting looking ship…
A two photo panorama.
Somehow I missed taking any photos while in Juneau…almost. Â I missed a photo of my new bestest taste sensation: A churro dipped in Nutella! Â I did get this great hat for Lugnut, the Batman Fan supreme!
And maybe the best part is >>I<< got to wear it until we got home!
A few selfies with the Dailylife Wife once we were back on board the Amsterdam.
The interesting thing in this photo, besides the brutally romantic couple, is the Disney Cruiseline ship docked behind us!
At Dinner in the Lido Cafe we saw this interesting display on the counter: a hard hat, axe, digger tool…
And the wait staff in funny hats…for June, even in Alaska, these are funny hats!
Turns out it was for the Klondike Days (Lumberjack Days?) celebration onboard! Â I don’t know how they could stand those hats…they are too warm for me on January outside!
