Day 213

Last Thursday (the 31st of August) I took a Red Cross run to Helena and Missoula.  It was smokey heading into Helena!

It was smokier still heading down the west side of MacDonald Pass and onto the Interstate!

Really smokey.

Then, surprisingly, it cleared up a few miles south of town.  The Red Cross guy said it was the clearest it had been in days.

Here is what I drove out of south of Missoula.

This is the Seeley Lake fire, or one of them, looking Northeast before Clearwater Junction.

And a quick view as I got past it.
