Day 232

A blast from the past: these are from from a vacation we took in 2003.  This was April something or other, in Las Vegas:  it is the entrance to the Luxor (in a two photo panorama), where we stayed.  It is the big glass pyramid.  That beam of light can be seen in Los Angeles on a clear night.

Inside the Luxor.

Looking down from the elevator.  This was a neat experience: the rooms make up the outside, slanted wall of the Luxor.  The middle is open.  The elevators run along the inside slant of the pyramid.

We took a short walk down the Strip.  Actually, there are no “short” walks…you walk everywhere there!

This is the famous Siegfried and Roy Lion enclosure!

Or it was, anyway.

I don’t know if this was one of the lions that tried to eat Roy or not.  That was a couple of years in the future as I recall.

Dailylife Daughter #1 in front of the window the next morning.  DD#2 snuck into the corner.  You can see the slanted wall.

The view of Excalibur and the top of New York, New York from our room.  I quite enjoyed our stay there!
