A blast from the past: these are from from a vacation we took in 2003. Â This was April something or other, in Las Vegas: Â it is the entrance to the Luxor (in a two photo panorama), where we stayed. Â It is the big glass pyramid. Â That beam of light can be seen in Los Angeles on a clear night.
Inside the Luxor.

Looking down from the elevator. Â This was a neat experience: the rooms make up the outside, slanted wall of the Luxor. Â The middle is open. Â The elevators run along the inside slant of the pyramid.
We took a short walk down the Strip. Â Actually, there are no “short” walks…you walk everywhere there!
This is the famous Siegfried and Roy Lion enclosure!
Or it was, anyway.
I don’t know if this was one of the lions that tried to eat Roy or not. Â That was a couple of years in the future as I recall.
Dailylife Daughter #1 in front of the window the next morning. Â DD#2 snuck into the corner. Â You can see the slanted wall.
The view of Excalibur and the top of New York, New York from our room. Â I quite enjoyed our stay there!
