Woo Hoo~! Â Ten years of a Photo-A-Day! Â It has been interesting, to say the least. Â
Congratulations to Friend Robyn who has also (in October) completed a PAD for ten years!
So today was mostly watching the Grandkritters while their Mom worked, and the Dailylife Wife did also (just the morning for both of them). Â And a $700 preventive 100k service on the car. Â And that was planned BEFORE all of the drama today and yesterday!
The DD#2 was here over Christmas, and was to fly back to Seattle yesterday afternoon. Â We dropped her at the airport at about 12:30 in a pretty good snow shower. Â And as soon as she got through Security…they closed the runway due to weather. Â I went back up and got her after she rescheduled for this morning’s flight. Â Her’s finally did leave a bit after 5pm.
So this morning I dropped the Dailylife Wife at work a 5:45am, and DD#2 at the airport at 6am. Â She took off just fine at about 7:15.
She says she could see the branches on the trees as they were landing at SEATAC, when the plane took a sudden, swift climb from the airport runway. Â Then they circled for a while, then diverted to Yakima…where they landed so low on fuel the airport had the fire trucks out for them. Â She finally arrived in Seattle at about lunchtime (an earlier time zone than here, so it was nearing 1pm my time). Â It is suppose to be a quick flight from here…I think she was happy to be on the ground in the right place at last. Â Even more exciting than when she took the train home from college and they got stuck for hours because of an avalanche or something! {!-{>
So an exciting end to 2018, and Ten Years of my Photo-A-Day!
