Day 337

I set the GPS on Sante Fe, and followed it one turn too far…I found myself IN old Sante Fe, with all of the early morning delivery trucks. The streets were narrow two-lanes before everyone parked on both sides. The last time I was IN Sante Fe was July of 1981, on the way to Fort Bliss, Texas, for the US Army Officer Basic Course. I was on a smallish motorcycle. It fit a whole lot better than my F150 with all of the other F150s and full sized pickups. Not to mention the panel delivery vans. No semis…they did not seem to fit at all!

I can’t find any photos from Sante Fe. I guess I was busy trying not to hit anyone…so here is a nicely decorated overpass between Sante Fe and Albuquerque. They were all nicely decorated…
