Running a view days behind…
I decided to try my hand at a Moon photo with the new camera and my best lens, the Canon 400mm f5.6 L. It is a bit strange down here in Arizona: we are in a “Dark Skies” area and there are few street lights, and you can see the stars beautifully! Strange driving around town though…the only lights are from store windows.
This was taken outside of the trailer in the middle of the RV Resort. It was a bit difficult to shoot: the Moon is directly overhead, the worst place for a tripod to point!
1/320 second, F8.0, ISO 100, Av mode.
I think this may be my best Moon close up yet!
