Day 227: Off to a Tea Party

As soon as I got home from the Stacks, I changed and grabbed my friend Vance.  There was a Tea Party protest rally in front of the offices of our two Senators, Baucus and Testor.  Much it is about excess spending, but right now it is about stopping a complete replacement of our health care system with one that will ration care and “help” Gramma to see how it is in her own best interest to bow out gracefully rather than fight to survive.  Of course, the pledge is that it will save money.

Right.  With the Federal Government running it, save money?

I might have been born in a barn (metaphorically speaking; it was the Northern Pacific Hospital in Glendive, /\/\onTana!) but it wasn’t yesterday!

This is in front of Sen. Baucus’ office…sort of; it is about half a block to the right past this building.

Here is a shot from a little farther down…

More people than the last time!

And a panorama of six photos stitched together in MS ICE, in front of Sen. Testor’s office.

People on every corner.  Lots of supportive hons and waves.  And a few unsupportive ones too…

As part of theAstroturf Mob, I am waiting for my check.  No one seemed to know where it was…
