I was out last week playing with my Sigma 600mm Mirror lens and found this Coot.

I think most of the trouble with this lens not looking like it focuses very well is that it is manual focus, and the view screens in Digital SLR’s are not designed to manually focus. You >>can<< do it, but there is a lot of guess involved.
