I went for my one month visit following my knee surgery…everything seems to be working well, and absent a specific complaint I don’t need to go back. Physical therapy as needed; driving whenever my reaction time is back. (I tried the “gas pedal to brake” foot dance: Completely successful in both vehicles!)

Not many photos of the intervening month, but Monday (11 Sep 23) will be four weeks from the operation. I am walking fine with a cane. It is mainly for balance and posture. I have been sleeping on the couch: the new knee doesn’t like to be on its side yet. I hope to start driving again next week!

My Stepbrother was visiting Step-Mom Sarah. They went to the Cemetery: Dad’s Marker had been installed. It looks nice!

This has been my view for the last month. Not too bad: I like sexy nurses! But she won’t wear the Sexy Nurse outfit…Why the heck not??? She is a Sexy Nurse, it’d even be legit that way!!!

This bandage actually lasted the two weeks they said it would! Then my Nurse ripped it off of my knee…hardly felt it all all. I still had some of the Happy Pills back then…

Home the next day…if it had been a hip i’d have gone home the same day. Here I am keeping my leg elevated. No, they didn’t chop the other one off. It is just bent out of sight.
