The first time out of bed since that morning after an hour and a half on the operating slab…with a brand new (I hope so…I don’t want used at these prices!!) Titanium Knee! I have only been waiting since 1976 when they cut the cartilage out of half of the old one…

Lugnut in the front of a canoe at Melita Island!

Sunset over the Camp. The Island was hit with a pine bug infestation and has had to cut down a lot of the trees (it was almost completely forested!), but they made the best of it and got a portable sawmill. They use all the trees they have to cut down. While sad to see, it does open some vistas!

I was almost caught up and I got behind again…

The DD#1’s family (well, Lugnut, Lugwrench and Toots) went to Melita Island Boy Scout Camp for a week. In the Lodge there is this plaque listing people who donated to the Phoenix Patrol in a successful effort to by Melita Island back from the evil developers (well, not directly, but some were involved at some point…).
