The floor of every elevator…
After a bit we were even able to go to our stateroom. Â It was small, but efficient.
Then it was on to the lifeboat drill! Â This was the one mandatory event on the ship: if you didn’t go to it they wouldn’t take you on the cruise!
Then, since it was past lunchtime, we stopped in the Lido Cafe, the onboard buffet, and had some! Â The desserts were small. Â Chocolate something-or-other…
….lemon fluffy-stuff…
…small but really good…
A fine looking passenger.
This is the Grand Princess. Â She got to leave before we did, and is a lot larger than the Amsterdam.
(A five photo panorama!)
This is the view from the Lido Deck at the stern of the Amsterdam.
(A four photo panorama!)
More fine passengers…
…and a selfie!
We saw this guy flying around.
It took a while to read the message. Â Here it is bigger.
We don’t know her answer.
Trusters keep us in place while…
…the Grand Princess pulls out.
Seattle as we are leaving.

Mount Rainier.
There are lots of nice places to relax on the boat. Â Too many of the chairs, however, are designed for skinny European butts.
Eventually we retired to the Crow’s Nest, the lounge above the Bridge, Deck 9.  It has a view of all around the Ship, other than directly astern.  Entertainment in the evenings.
There was a Drink of the Day special. Â I tried them all. Â Some more than once!
This is the Twilight Zone. Â It was pretty good. Â Cheers!
