I find that late nights on Cruise Ships are great times to go up on deck.
No one is there and there are some pretty neat photos waiting to be taken! Â The light brown squares in the foreground are glass panels in a giant movable cover that closes over the Lido Deck pool during inclement weather.
An exhaust stack and the telecommunications system, including $0.60 per minute Internet.
A closeup of one of the sliding panel in the cover.
The view of an end. Â I will show more details later, in the daylight.
This is the Lido Deck pool and hot tubs after hours. Â Note the netting in the hot tub to keep people out. Â There is a bar at one end and a pretty good burger bar at the other. Â Lots of tables and chairs to sit at and watch the world go by. Â It is interesting to watch the water slosh around in the pool when the ship rocks.
The sculpture at the end of our elevator alcove. Â Our stateroom is immediately to the left of this, behind the elevators. Â First one down the passageway.
