The Author.
Here the Park Ranger was cleaning the varnished “last tie” so the people there wouldn’t get the tennis show prints of the previous people in their photo.
Of course, it stayed clean long enough for my photo too!
The Plaque.
Here it the front of the 119.  “The 119 continued after the ceremony as a freight locomotive, being renumbered the 343. In 1903 it was scrapped for $1,000.” ~Wikipedia
