Back from Virginia City!

Returning to the Station, we waited for the train.

We backed through the Wye on the Virginia City end of the line.  You can see the tail end of the Wye on the left near the log cabin.

The Central City station.  It was town to the north of Nevada City.  All the remains is the relocated building.

Abandoned Right-Of-Way.

A little further on.  I think this is from when they used full-sized trains.

It is a bit sad returning to Nevada City.  The last time I was here (admittedly 28 years ago or so…) you could wander through these railroad cars.  Now they have to be permanently closed off with barbed wire.
