Toots and I left Great Falls on Sunday evening, and spent the night in one of the last rooms in Butte, MT. Â We were on our way to Idaho to see the Total Solar Eclipse. Â We would have stayed in Dillon, 60 miles closer to Idaho, but the only room I found there was priced at $1,000 for one night. Â We left our $172 Econlodge room in Butte very early Monday morning (21 August, 2017) to find a spot in Idaho.
Sunrise south of Dillon.
We found a spot, along with a bunch of other folks, about half way between Idaho Falls and Dubois. Â Toots started documenting the location…
Of course, she is wearing the latest in Solar Fashion…

On and off she stood watch from her favorite perch, the roof of My Honda Pilot.
An eight photo panorama of where we watched the eclipse. Â That little white car on both ends was directly in front of us, and we watched from the back of the Pilot in the middle of the photo. Â Click it a couple of times to enlarge it; BACK to return here.
