Day 226

(I just noticed the photos here are all labeled for day 227…they are really Day 226’s…)

I took a walk along the River’s Edge Trail today.  I decided to try the panorama feature on my cellphone’s camera.  I usually just take several photos and stitch them together, but I thought I’d try it this way.

(Click on the photo a couple of times for maximum enlargement; BACK to return here!)

On Panorama you point the camera at one end of what you want to shoot, press the shutter button and slow pan across the area you want to capture.  The slower you go the larger your file size…the photo below is twice the size (4mb) of the one above (2mb) even though it does not cover twice the area.

Even thought the arrows and instructions on the cellphone point left and right, I thought I would try panning it up.  Seems to work pretty good!

And a normal photo of the Rainbow Dam and Trestle for reference.
