Day 001, 2018!

Happy New Year!

Here is a New Year’s Full Moon.

Here is the Moon shortly after it rose tonight. The edges look a bit rough because they are: when it is near the horizon you are shooting through literally a thousand miles or more of unstable air. Once it is over head you are down to less than 100 miles and the image is much more stable.
