Here is that Moonrise over Tuzigoot NM with my Canon M50 and 70-300mm L lens.
This is actually one end of the ruins at Tuzigoot. The main ruins are a bit higher, so I moved and got to watch the Moonrise all over again! But it was too dark to get the foreground exposed, and light painting the hillside sounds like a quick way to get unwanted attention from people with those “stinkin’ badtgees”, to paraphrase a Humphrey Bogart movie (Treasure of Sierra Madre). All those flashing lights just ruins your night vision!
So here is over the top of the ruins.
I will try to get a usable shot of both the moon and foreground (sans heavy editing) at the next full moon in a few weeks.
